Idris Elba is the latest celeb to be “dolled up,” but fans aren’t impressed with what’s supposed to be a replica of People‘s “Sexiest Man Alive.”
The doll, which was created by British manufacturer Emperis and costs 850 pounds or around $1,400 CAD, was supposed to model the “Luther” actor.
Elba’s plastic doll is dressed to the nines in a sleek suit jacket and jeans meant to show off the actor’s toned physique.
However, this caricature has left fans on social media very confused, and somewhat terrified, with some saying it resembles Jafar from “Aladdin” as well as actors Romany Malco and Montel Williams. The latter, a resemblance even the actor himself couldn’t resist.
It was also hard for people not to compare Elba’s questionable doll to international soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo’s failed bust from 2017.
According to the company’s Facebook page, they say that there are only a few 17-inch dolls remaining.
