Zoe Kravitz fanned the flames of her feud with Lily Allen, telling the “Watch What Happens Live” audience the “Smile” singer “attacked” her with a kiss in 2014.
The “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald” star dropped by the show with co-star Eddie Redmayne when a caller asked her about a supposed kiss following a night of partying between the actress and the singer, pointing to Allen’s description of events in her 2018 memoir My Thoughts Exactly.
Allen’s book recounts the events as: “For my New York shows, Zoe Kravitz and her band Lolawolf supported me, so I got to know Zoe a bit. We became friends. Zoe and I went out partying and ended up kissing. I heard that later that same night she’d got down with A$AP Rocky.”
“Who is Lily Allen?” Kravitz, 29, responds to the caller’s question. Unfortunately, her co-star Redmayne completely misjudged the situation and Kravitz’s slight, calling Allen the “voice of our generation by the way, I love her.”
“No you don’t,” Kravitz savagely responds to Redmayne before delving into the alleged kissing incident. “If by kissing she means ‘attacking,’ then yes, she kissed me,” the “Big Little Lies” actress claims. “She attacked me,” she says, adding that Allen portrayed the kiss “like I wanted it” in the book.
But, leave it to Kravitz to have the final word after host Andy Cohen asks if she’s read Allen’s memoir.
“I don’t think anybody read the book,” she shades.
