Executive producer Andy Lassner has taken part in a wide range of “Average Andy” segments on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” but the latest could be the most challenging yet.
DeGeneres sends Lassner out to test the course of the upcoming NBC competition series “The Titan Games” with host Dwayne Johnson on Friday’s show.
Lassner complains, as he’s greeted by the actor on set: “Fitness isn’t really my thing,” to which Johnson replies that he hadn’t noticed.
The producer then gets shown the difficult obstacles he’s going to be facing, telling viewers: “I did a lot of protein shakes today and I ate really clean.
“I didn’t, I didn’t. I had a grilled cheese and Kit Kats.”
Lassner tells Johnson, before struggling to complete the course: “My muscles can’t even hold up my elbow pads. I’m ready to disappoint a lot of people.”
He ends up getting that all-important key though, to huge cheers from the crowd.
