The 14th annual ACTRA Toronto Awards were held in Toronto last night, honouring outstanding achievement in acting.

Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany announced the winners, with Tattoo Cardinal presenting ACTRA Toronto’s 2016 Award of Excellence to Sarah Gadon, currently starring alongside James Franco in the Stephen King-inspired miniseries 11.22.63.

Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek) was presented with the award for Outstanding Performance – Female, while Christopher Plummer (Remember) won Outstanding Performance – Male.

Julie Lemieux (Numb Chucks) was presented with the award for Outstanding Performance – Voice, while a special presentation of statuettes was made to ACTRA Toronto’s stunt pioneers: John “Frenchie”; Berger, Matt Birman, Shane Cardwell, Shelley Cook, Bobby Hannah, Chris Lamon, Dwayne McLean, Brent Meyer, Branko Racki, Alison Reid, Morris Maurizio Santia, John Stoneham Sr., Anton Tyukodi and Billy E. Williams.
