Hundreds of Atlanta seniors are thankful for T.I. this Thanksgiving season.
For the 13th year in a row, the Atlanta-based rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, was part of the turkey giveaway ahead of the American holiday on Thursday.
T.I. was joined by volunteers and city representatives, including Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Tuesday to hand out hundreds of turkeys and fresh produce to seniors in need. Local grandparents raising their grandchildren were pre-identified by a citywide selection for the giveaway.
The annual event is co-hosted under T.I.’s non-profit Harris Community Works, which is a charitable organization that works to empower and elevate the community through education, awareness, and opportunity.
