James Corden is having a hard time getting his wizarding licence from Eddie Redmayne.
The “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” star appeared on “The Late Late Show” Wednesday night in a hilarious sketch in which Corden goes to a classroom at the Ministry of Magic for a licence test.
Redmayne plays the wizard administering the test, doing his best serious teacher impression.
“You can take a seat, please, Mr. Magnificent. Real name?” Redmayne asks.
“It’s actually Mr. Magnificent the Master of Mystery,” Corden corrects him, “but it doesn’t matter.”
Put through a series of magical tests, Corden shows off his hilariously unimpressive skills at pulling scarves out of his pockets and doing a flashy dance to Jock Jams.
