Pamela Anderson took on the role of C.J. Parker on the hit TV series “Baywatch” for five seasons – the role, along with its infamous skimpy red bathing suit, helped skyrocket the British Columbia native to stardom. Flash forward 24 years and the franchise is set to be rebooted for the big screen! So when ET Canada’s Erin Cebula sat-down with the 48-year old actress/activist this past weekend at her “Raw” book signing in Kelowna, Erin wanted to know if Anderson would reprise her role.

The actress tells us: “I haven’t turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me. But we’ll see what happens…I haven’t even read the script. I have no idea what it’s about… ‘Baywatch’ was such a huge part of my life. And really they’re trying to do an homage and you know it’s an honour to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad.”
We’ll we’d love to see the blonde bombshell back on the beach! Anderson is still stunning at age 48 and clearly the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Her two sons Brandon and Dylan are making their own headlines around the world, with 18-year-old Dylan named the new face of Yves Saint Laurent’s 2016 Fashion Campaign.
Anderson beams: “They find [my sons] on Instagram. I have not pushed this at all on my kids. I really felt like I really kept them out of the spotlight. They were not on any red carpets when they were young. Things like that so when they were 18 or 19 and they started doing musicals in high school and getting all this attention they really though ‘I really like this business’ and I’m like ‘Oh please go to university!’… so Brandon’s taking a year off to take serious acting lessons… and my youngest is hopefully going to be going to university, we find out soon. But he’s a musician, he’s talented, he’s the face of YSL…. I really believe my kids could do more than just be kids of celebrities who end up in the industry and feel entitled that they can be in that. So they’re straight-A students… I mean my youngest is a straight-A student.” Laughing, she goes on to say, ” I want to make that clear!”

One thing that’s crystal clear, Anderson is not planning to slow down anytime soon – she’s set to expand her empire collaborating with “The Hatch Winery” on her own private label of Brut Rose. And she just completed work on the sci-fi short “Connected”. She tells us: “Luke Gilford is David Lynch’s protégé, he’s an amazing director. He’s very young and I feel like I have these young indie film directors who are looking at me from a different perspective. They’re looking at me like ‘She created this life, and they can see humanise behind the image… and so we really kind of stripped it down. Got raw. And I really wanted to experiment with even being an actress. Which I haven’t been able to do before. So felt like it was a real character. We’re I’ve kind of gotten away with running around in a bikini…And I don’t like to look at anything [I’ve done]. Pictures, magazines, nothing like that. I don’t have anything but I watched this film [“Connected”] from start to finish on a huge screen and I was just like ‘Wow!'”
