Colombian-born singer Shakira, 39, has one of the most unmistakable voices and now she’s taking her talents to the big screen.
She’s starring in the new animated movie “Zootopia”; alongside Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin.
This marks Shakira’s first feature film and her return to the spotlight after a two year hiatus – the 39-year-old took time off to raise her young family.
ET Canada’s Roz Weston sat down with the songstress to talk about what her boys think of their superstar mom. “My kids love me for who I am,”; she smiles.
And they’re not the only ones! Their father – Shakira’s longtime love, soccer player Gerard Piqué, also keeps her grounded.
“I call him my semi-husband because we’re not really married but it’s like we are!”; she says. “He likes me for my defects and I think that’s the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard.”;
Shakira’s movie is something the whole family can enjoy. And in addition to voicing one of the characters, she also sings the theme song “Try Everything”;, admitting taking on a Disney tune was daunting.
