Jada Pinkett Smith admits she’s “not mature enough to have a divorce” as she talks about her relationship with Will Smith in an upcoming episode of “Red Table Talk”.
Pinkett Smith, 47, is joined by her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and Toni Braxton in the latest instalment, with the group going into detail about having to divide assets when a couple splits.
Pinkett Smith says in a teaser, “For me personally, I’m not mature enough to have a divorce. I’m just not. I don’t think I would ever be mature enough. I don’t.”
Braxton then asks “why?”, to which the actress responds: “Because when you have to start going in, breaking up assets, that right there…”
Banfield-Jones continues, “When you have to start to divide things, separate, cut off…” before Pinkett Smith replies: “Let me tell you, that’s when the red table turns upside down and it won’t be red no more!”
The “Girls Trip” star adds, while knocking on the table: “This’ll be smashed [into] shambles. You know what I’m saying?”
Pinkett Smith’s comments come after Will appeared on a couple of episodes of the show last month.
The actor, 50, recalled a time when his wife cried for 45 days straight at one point in their relationship, and admitted they no longer call themselves “married” because they follow their own rules.
