Prince Charles is teasing some baby names for his future grandchild.
With Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall by his side for the unveiling of a new portrait commemorating his 70th birthday at Australia House in London on Thursday, Prince Charles saw an opportunity to joke about some baby name suggestions for soon-to-be parents, Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan Markle, 37.
“My son Harry tells me that during their recent tour of Australia he and his wife were offered countless, thoughtful suggestions for the naming of their forthcoming baby,” he joked to laughs from the crowd. “Just between us, just between us, I suspect that Kylie and Shane may possibly make the short list.”
According to the Prince Of Wales, there are at least two names that can be crossed off the list as they prepare to welcome the newest member of the royal family.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I would not hold your breath for Edna or Les,” he said.

Thank you Australian High Commission for such a fantastic and memorable evening celebrating the centenary of Australia House – an excellent speech by Prince Charles (in which he exclusively revealed the Royal Bub might be called Shane or Kylie, thanks to the recent excellent Aussie hospitality 😉), the unveiling of a fantastic portrait by Ralph Heimans, my girl chatting with the Duchess, wonderful Aussie musicians & all round great company. Oh, and Lamingtons. There were Lamingtons. A brilliant evening. #aussiehouse #homeawayfromhome #princeofwales #duchessofcornwall #ralphheimans #centenary #aussiesinlondon * * * 📷 @clarencehouse
