UPDATE: Tuesday, February 23 (8:44 p.m. ET) – After a newly unearthed video showed Kesha swearing under oath that Dr. Luke did not drug and rape her, the singer has now come forward saying she was forced to lie because “if she didn’t cover up his sexual assault”; her producer would destroy the lives of her and her family, according to this excerpt from her lawsuit (courtesy of TMZ):
Amid the release of the video Kesha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, takes a hefty shot at Dr. Luke telling TMZ he’s “pathetic vermin”; and “this guy is nothing more than his generation’s Bill Cosby.”;

A new video has surfaced showing Kesha swearing under oath in a 2011 deposition that Dr. Luke, did not drug and rape her, which runs counter to the charges in her current lawsuit against the producer, claiming he drugged and raped her in 2006 shortly after she signed with the label.

According to TMZ, the video was obtained by a Dr. Luke source, and shows heavily edited snippets of the deposition.
The clip also includes sworn testimony from Kesha’s mother, who denies ever being told about inappropriate conduct between her daughter and Dr. Luke (whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald).

Meanwhile, Kesha’s suit against Dr. Luke is still ongoing. A court date has been set for later this month to see if she’ll be permitted to release new music outside of Sony and the labels owned by Dr. Luke.
