A 1-year-old’s birthday party did not receive as much as online love as it normally would.
Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish celebrated their son Kenzo’s first birthday with a “Cowboys and Indians” themed party. You may be able to see where this is going.
Parrish posted several photos and videos from the party on Friday. “‘Zos Cowboys and Indians party was nothing but amazing!” Parish captioned the Instagram photo below. “Thanks to everyone for coming.”
Not everyone is in awe over the sheer cuteness of Kenzo’s cowboy outfit. Many of Parrish’s Instagram followers called her and Hart out for culturally appropriating indigenous peoples’ outfits.
Hart and his ex-wife Torrei threw a “Fortnite” themed birthday party for their 11-year-old son Hendrix. That one seemed to go a lot smoother with the online community.
Following the furor, Hart did not hold back while addressing the controversy on his SiriusXM radio show “Straight from the Hart,” dismissing the backlash as “dumb s**t,” that demonstrates “how stupid our world is becoming with opinions.”
