Jameela Jamil continues to prove she has no problem calling out her fellow celebrities.
“The Good Place” actress shunned stars like Cardi B who pedal “detox tea” to their followers through sponsored social media posts.
“They got Cardi B on the laxative nonsense ‘detox’ tea. GOD, I hope all these celebrities all s**t their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do,” Jamil tweeted Saturday. “Not that they actually take this s**t. They just flog it because they need MORE MONEY.”
“If you want to ‘curb your appetite’ eat some damn green vegetables or have some nutritious natural vegetable soup,” she argued. “Don’t drink these ‘detox’ teas. You need fibre! Not something that honestly just makes you have diarrhea the day you take it and constipates you in the long run.”
Jamil, 32, went after the Kardashians earlier this year for the ideas and products they promote to their fanbase.
“You’re selling us self-consciousness,” she said of the Kardashian clan before calling them “double agents for the patriarchy.”
Leave it to Cardi B to try and have the final word, sending a hilarious response to Jamil’s post: “I will never s**t my pants cause there’s public restrooms everywhere… ooo and bushes,” she wrote on Instagram.
Jamil continued her campaign against “detox” product sellers on Tuesday, posting a parody of her pitching a similar product to her fanbase before ending up on a toilet seat for “three days.”
