Mumford & Sons’ New Album ‘Delta’ Cruises To Number One

Mumford & Sons hit the three-peat of chart-topping albums.

The alternative rock band’s latest project Delta tops the Billboard 200 chart with 230,000 equivalent album units sold at the end of its first week.

Mumford & Sons made a big splash towards the end of 2018 with the second-biggest week for any rock album of the year and sixth biggest week overall.

The group has been a major player on the charts since their debut effort Sigh No More peaked at number two. Since then, they have hit nothing but the jackpot with three consecutive number one albums: BabelWilder Mind, and now Delta.

Canadian Michael Buble’s new album Love prevailed at number two on this week’s chart, while popular movie soundtracks like The Greatest Showman and A Star Is Born continue to live in the top five.
