Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift have kept their two-year relationship incredibly private up until now and the actor is adamant things are going to stay that way.
Alwyn, 27, who has four films, including the much-talked about “The Favourite”, coming out in the next few months, was quizzed by GQ about dating the popular musician.
However, refusing to give away any gossip, the British star insisted: “Someone’s private life is, by definition, private. No one is obliged to share their personal life.”

The mag went on to question Alwyn about the cactus shot he posted on Instagram earlier this year, which looked remarkably similar to one Swift shared on her account at the same time.
When asked if they were trying to send fans a message with the dual snaps, Alwyn said: “No. I didn’t even think of that until I was in New York and someone else mentioned it.”
“It wasn’t purposeful at all!”

Despite the “Boy Erased” favourite clearly not wanting to talk about his love life whatsoever, GQ weren’t done there, and went on to ask the star about his favourite Swift song.
However, he quipped: “I’m just not even going to go into that side of the world.”
