Beth Chapman’s battle with throat cancer continues.
The wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter underwent surgery last year to remove a cancerous tumour in her throat. Chapman seemed to be on the mend until new reports were published Tuesday by TMZ.
The publication says Champman had difficulty breathing overnight and was rushed to Cedars-Senai Medical Center on Tuesday. Doctors reportedly discovered a large mass in her throat, which turned out to be cancerous.
Chapman was rushed into surgery and was reported out around 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET.
“Doctors who performed the surgery discovered her throat cancer has returned,” TMZ reported. “Doctors say it’s too early to give a prognosis, but it’s serious. They’re currently evaluating treatment options.”
The family’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, told the outlet Chapman’s condition is serious. Dog and more family members are reportedly by her side.
