Only William Shatner could churn out a performance like this.

Shatner, 87, delivered an almost off-tempo spoken word performance of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” before cranking the volume up to 11 partway through.
The song is from Shatner’s new holiday album Shatner Claus and nobody is quite sure if the whole thing is meant to be comical or a serious piece of art.

What is known is the actor already has plans for another album. “I’m going to work with [producer] Adam [Hamilton] on a blues album,” he recently told the Los Angeles Times. “I’m trying to meet up with several of the ranking blues [musicians], and even if they don’t want to be part of the album, I want them at least talk to me about the blues.”
Shatner Claus features Henry Rollins, Brad Paisley, and Judy Collins among others. It is fueled by Shatner’s unique takes on such holiday classics as “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells”.
