Tensions are reportedly rising between Prince William and Prince Harry as another source has now spoken out about an alleged rift between the pair.
According to Vanity Fair‘s royal reporter Katie Nicholl, Harry, who recently confirmed he’d be moving out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage with Meghan Markle, allegedly felt like William wasn’t doing enough to make his wife feel welcome.
An insider said of last Christmas, “Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so. They had a bit of a fallout, which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort.
“That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them.”
A friend of Harry is said to have told the reporter over the summer that the Duke of Sussex was not happy about the amount of attention he and his new wife were getting.
“Harry doesn’t like it, and he’s keen to protect Meghan from being too much in the public eye,” the pal is thought to have said at the time.
It’s not known whether the alleged issues have now been resolved but the Cambridges and the Sussexes have been pictured at numerous royal engagements together since.
Harry and Meghan are rumoured to be leaving the Palace so they can raise their baby “away from the limelight.”
