Quincy Taylor Brown has broken his silence since the passing of his mother, Kim Porter.
The actor, 27, took to Twitter to write a heartbreaking message, thanking fans for their support during this difficult time.
“To everyone, thank you for your endless love, condolences, best wishes and positive energy through the toughest heartbreak I will ever encounter,” Quincy wrote.
Adding, “Heaven has gained a special angel to look over ALL of us. From the bottom of my heart… Thank y’all.”
Porter, also the mother of rapper Diddy’s three children, passed away suddenly on Nov. 15. The LAPD doesn’t suspect foul play and says the cause of death is still undetermined pending a coroner investigation. She was 47-years-old.
Porter’s body was discovered in her Toluca Lake, Calif. home.
Many stars took to social media to grieve the loss of their friend, including Beyonce, Usher and Diddy.
“Today we lay to rest our angel. Her spirit lives on with us forever!” Diddy captioned a sweet photo of her. “We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank God for all of you.”
