Mumford & Sons Put Their Own Twist On Ariana Grande’s ‘Breathin’

Leave it to Mumford & Sons to up the ante.

Fresh off the heels of their third consecutive chart-topping album Delta, the band dropped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to share something special.

Mumford & Sons – accompanied by Petr Aleksander and the London Contemporary Orchestra – performed an epic, grandiose cover of Ariana Grande’s hit song “Breathin”.

Delta topped the charts in multiple countries and interestingly enough, the British band fell just short of the number one spot on the UK chart. The massive success of Michael Buble’s Love overseas bumped Mumford & Sons from the top in their home country. In Canada, however, Delta managed to outperform the Canadian’s latest project.

Hopefully, Mumford & Sons’ visit to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge will hold British fans over until the group can return for their rescheduled tour dates in June 2019.
