Doctors suspected appendicitis, but following further tests it turns out Butler is actually suffering from diverticulitis – which “is inflammation or infection of small pouches called diverticula that develop along the walls of the intestines.”

But the good news is Butler will soon be discharged since his condition is not severe.

Just weeks before travelling to the Dominican, Butler lost part of his home following the devastating wildfires that swept through Southern California.

He shared a look at his Malibu house following the fires on Instagram, showing the little remains of his building and truck.
