Kensington Palace Squashes Rumours Of Meghan Markle-Kate Middleton Feud, Says Alleged Argument ‘Never Happened’

Rumours of friction between sisters-in-law Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been roiling the British tabloids, but royal reps are insisting those reports are bogus.

In fact, Kensington Palace is taking the rare step of refuting a report that ran in The Sun, claiming the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex had an “explosive row” prior to the royal wedding in May.

According to the newspaper, the “furious” wife of Prince William allegedly scolded the bride-to-be for berating members of her staff.  “That’s unacceptable,” Middleton allegedly told Markle, “they’re my staff and I speak to them.”

The source also told The Sun, “It’s a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach.”

However, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace addressed the Sun‘s report, basically calling the report fake news.

“This never happened,” the rep told The Sun.
