Nicole Kidman is done discussing her marriage to Tom Cruise.
The 51-year-old, who was with Cruise, 56, from 1990 to 2001, was questioned by the Guardian’s Observer magazine in a new interview about whether she saw any comparisons between being a preacher’s wife in “Boy Erased” and being married to the actor.
Kidman reportedly told the mag, “I have a husband now. I feel out of respect for him I don’t want to talk about that. It’s been 20 years.
“I have come to the point where I can say: ‘I am not going to keep discussing my ex.’ It’s nice for me to be able to say that.”
The showbiz pair, who met on the set of “Days of Thunder”, share two adopted children together; daughter Bella, 25, and son Connor, 23.
Despite Kidman no longer wanting to discuss her ex-husband, she did recently say on the “Today” show that her marriage meant she avoided sexual predators.
The actress, who is now married to Keith Urban, explained, “Because I was married at 23 years old, I wasn’t going to parties or I wasn’t going out a lot. I was pretty much at home.
“I had my first child at 25 and I was married, I was in a family. So my sense of being in the world was, I was working or I was at home.”
