After getting engaged to film producer Randall Emmett this past September, Lala Kent says she is no rush to plan their big day.
Speaking with ET Canada in high-anticipation for “Vanderpump Rules” season 7, premiering on December 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Slice, the 28-year-old reality TV star reveals if she plans to share details of her wedding planning on the show.
“As long as Randall is not involved,” Kent explains. “He’s made it very clear that he likes to stay behind the camera. [But] I have no problem discussing where I’m at with wedding planning, looking at dresses or whatever it may be.”
While Kent claims that she is “the worst bride-to-be” and has “not even started thinking about any details” of the wedding, the star reveals that she does have an idea of when the couple would like to have the wedding take place.
“I definitely want to have a September wedding,” she exclusively tells ET Canada. “So, September 2020 is what we’re looking at. Nothing official.”
As for her dress, Kent adds, “As far as my dress shopping goes, the only thing I’ve done is scroll through Instagram and tag things I like. However, I do know that I want to change at least three times.”
While the Give Them Lala beauty entrepreneur has previously been private about sharing details of her relationship on the show, Kent says she will be speaking openingly about her relationship in season 7.
“It feels good,” she says. “I feel liberated. You know, he’s such a big part of my life, so to be able to finally talk about our ups and our downs with people who I really hang out with on-or-off camera, [it’s] just so refreshing.”
Meanwhile, with cast members Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright getting engaged back in June, the actress says that she could definitely see “Raquel [Leviss] and James [Kennedy] being the next couple to get engaged.”
Kent continues, “But, I think we might see pregnancy — like a ‘Vanderpump’ baby before we see another ‘Vanderpump’ wedding.” Sharing her best guess, she adds, “Katie [Maloney] and Brittany are the two that will have the babies first.”
