Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ Earns Top Song Of 2018 On Billboard’s Hot 100

It was a good year for music and with 2018 coming to a close, Billboard has revealed its annual top songs list.

According to Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, Drake’s “God’s Plan” sits at number one. The Canadian rapper’s track, and album Scorpion, also landed first on Spotify’s year-end review list.

Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” slid into second place, while country/pop fusion “Meant To Be” by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line landed in third.

Camila Cabello’s dance-heavy tune “Havana” came in fourth with two Post Malone tracks, “Rockstar” and “Psycho”, following behind in fifth and sixth, respectively.

Cardi B’s “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin landed in seventh while Zedd, Marren Morris and Grey’s “The Middle” sits in eighth.

Another Drake track, “In My Feelings”, the tune that launched a viral #InMyFeelingsDanceChallenge on social media, is ninth on the ranking.

And finally, Maroon 5’s feel-good anthem “Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B rounds out the top 10.

Champagne Papi was also named the top artist, top streaming artist and the top Billboard artist of 2018 by the outlet.
