Taylor Swift has managed to bag Billboard 200’s Top Album of the Year honour for the third time.
The 28-year-old, who released her latest LP Reputation on Nov. 10, 2017, took full advantage of the 2018 chart year, with the album debuting at No. 1 on the weekly chart dated Dec. 2, 2017.
Reputation spent four weeks at the top of the charts and stayed in the top 40 for its first 48 weeks. Swift previously bagged the Top Album of the Year honour with 2015’s 1989 and 2009’s Fearless.
Adele is the only other performer to top the list three times, with her doing it in 2015 with the album 25, as well as in 2011 and 2012 with 21.
Swift’s Reputation was followed by Drake’s Scorpion in this year’s list, with the Canadian rapper also leading Billboard’s year-end Top Artists ranking.
The latest Swift news comes after it was revealed that her Reputation Stadium Tour had been named the highest-grossing U.S. tour of all time.
Swift’s world tour, which just concluded in Tokyo on Nov. 21, grossed $266.1 million and sold more than 2 million tickets domestically.
