Former WWE Star Tommy ‘Dynamite Kid’ Billington Dead At 60

Pro-wrestling fans are mourning the passing of legendary Tag Team champion Tommy Billington.

According to WrestleZone, the former WWE star known as the Dynamite Kid died Wednesday on his 60th birthday.

Billington, who began wrestling at 13, gained fame in 1980s as part of the WWE (then WWF) Tag Team duo the British Bulldogs alongside Davey Boy Smith, who passed away in 2002.

Smith’s son announced Billington’s passing on Twitter on Wednesday morning.

Billington spent the later years of his life in a wheelchair due to a number of health-related issues.

Fans on Twitter mourned the death of the Dynamite Kid, sharing classic photos, videos and memories of the wrestler.
