Kelly Clarkson Urges Fans To Focus On ‘Praising Art’ Instead Of ‘Fighting’ Over Who Will Win At The Grammys

Kelly Clarkson is thankful for her Grammy nomination but has an important message for fans.

After the Academy of Recording Arts announced the 2019 nominees, the “Love So Soft” singer, 36, took to Twitter to urge fans not to fight over who will win.

“I am literally begging my fans and fans of all artists do not fight over which will win,” she wrote on Friday.

Adding, “We are all hard workers. We are all talented. We are all excited and honoured to be nominated. Let’s focus on praising art and lift each other up in a time when there is far too much division ❤️.”

Clarkson is nominated for Pop Album of the Year for her work on Meaning of Life.

Taylor Swift and her album Reputation, Camila Cabello (Camila), Ariana Grande (Sweetner), Shawn Mendes (Shawn Mendes) and Pink (Beautiful Trauma) are also nominated in that category.

The 2019 Grammy Awards will air Feb. 10.
