Ellen Page Stars In Netflix’s New Apocalypse Series ‘The Umbrella Academy’

A dysfunctional family of superhumans look to solve their adopted father’s mysterious death.

“The Umbrella Academy” is Netflix‘s upcoming web series based on the graphic novel of the same name by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way. The streaming service released a new trailer for the show on Saturday.

“43 infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before,” a press release from Netflix explains. “Seven are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world.”

The seven superheroes are Spaceboy, The Kraken, The Rumor, The Seance, The Boy, The Horror, and The White Violin.

Canadian “Juno” actress Ellen Page stars as The White Violin, alias Vanya Hargreeves, in Netflix’s upcoming show.

“The Umbrella Academy” premieres Feb. 15.
