Gisele Bundchen Calls Ellen DeGeneres Her ‘Lucky Charm’ Because She Met Tom Brady After Going On Her Show

Gisele Bundchen has had a wonderful 12 years with husband Tom Brady, and she may have Ellen DeGeneres to thank.

The supermodel is on Wednesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and the host notes that when Bundchen was last on the show in 2006 she was single with no kids.

“I went on a blind date and I met my husband, so I think you might have been my good luck charm,” Bundchen says. “Thank you! Twelve years later, I’m very happy with how things turned out, so I appreciate it.”

As well as confirming neither she nor her husband has plans to retire, the 38-year-old also talks about Brady’s safety as an NFL quarterback.

“It’s definitely something that you get concerned,” she says, “but he loves it so much and you’ve gotta let him do what he loves.”
