Johnny Depp Makes A Silent Cameo In ‘The Walking Dead’

As his most silent role to date, Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp makes a sneaky appearance in Sunday night’s episode of The Walking Dead.

The episode, titled “Not Tomorrow Yet,”; shows a shot of three severed heads that Entertainment Weekly reports as essential to the plot of the story (no spoilers here!). If you haven’t guessed it yet, one of the heads belongs to Depp.

“I think we had sculpted an emaciated version of a dummy head for something and we used Johnny Depp’s head as a basis just for a clay sculpt,”; Greg Nicotero, the episode’s director, explains. “I can’t remember who the third one is, but I’m in good company. Norman [Reedus] kept saying he wanted the heads when we were done shooting. I said we’ve got to wait until the picture is logged.”
