Taylor Swift reportedly used a facial recognition camera to detect her stalkers when she performed at the Los Angeles Rose Bowl on May 18.

The 29-year-old, who recently finished up her “Reputation” world tour, is said to have set up a place where fans could watch rehearsal clips at a special kiosk.

However, little did they know, their images were actually being taken and cross-referenced with a Nashville database in a bid to scout out possible stalkers.

Mike Downing, chief security officer of Oak View Group, an advisory board for venues, including Madison Square Garden and L.A.’s Forum, told Rolling Stone: “Everybody who went by would stop and stare at it, and the software would start working.”

The Guardian added that, despite fans’ privacy concerns, concerts were “private events so Swift had no obligation to notify ticket holders.”

ET Canada has reached out to Swift’s rep for further comment.

Swift has had a long line of stalkers, with her recently getting a restraining order in September against Eric Swarbrick, who had been threatening her with rape and murder via letters for the past two years.

The musician also took out a restraining order against Julius Sandrock in May after he was arrested outside her Beverly Hills home in April, with cops finding a mask and a knife in his car.

Mohammed Jaffar was then sentenced to six months in jail in May after being convicted of burglary and visiting the “Love Story” favourite’s home five times in just two months.

In January and February of last year, Jaffar was said to have called Swift’s management company approximately 59 times and left a series of voicemails.
