Tan France is tired of having to clear extra security hurdles because of the colour of his skin.
This week, the “Queer Eye” star tweeted that he had been forced to go through extra security checks at the airport, and that a TSA agent told him it’s because his name is “on a list.”

According to Just Jared, France gave more details on his Instagram Story, explaining, “What happens is, when you’re checking in, they tell you that you can’t use your pre-check because there’s a security issue. At that point, they take you out of line, and then they search you, and they give you a pat down—which is humiliating—where they check everything.
“Hopefully they’ll see this at some point and figure out why the f**k they’re treating me like this,” he said of the TSA, “because I know the answer. I know why I’m being profiled.”
The TSA Twitter account later responded, saying, “We’re sorry to hear this. DHS TRIP can provide resolution to travellers with difficulties getting through security and inspection at airport checkpoints.”

In a statement given to E! News, the TSA added, “All airline passengers, regardless of race, gender, or religion, are thoroughly screened at airport screening checkpoints. TSA cannot comment on the security designation for specific individuals, and there are a number of reasons a passenger can be selected for additional screening, including by random designation.”
