A new lawsuit filed against Harvey Weinstein alleges the disgraced movie mogul committed some pretty atrocious acts, along with the blockbuster claim that he bragged about bedding Jennifer Lawrence.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the woman — an aspiring actress — alleges that she and Weinstein were in the midst of a business meeting when she excused herself to use the restroom. Moments later, Weinstein burst into the bathroom “while she was sitting on the toilet with her tights around her ankles.”
Initially thinking Weinstein had walked in by accident, she continues by claiming that Weinstein then dropped his pants and exposed himself. “My d**k is nice and hard for you,” Weinstein allegedly told her, adding, “Do you like my d**k?”
The woman says she rejected his advance, but Weinstein responded by moving closer to her while pleasuring himself to completion, alleging that he ejaculated on her skirt. Weinstein then, the lawsuit alleges, promised her everything would be fine, so long as they remained “friends.”
The suit further alleges that Weinstein then offered her some scripts to read, promising further meetings that would lead to potential film roles.
Meeting Weinstein later during the festival, she alleges, following a screening “he forced her hand onto his erect penis.”
Despite her apprehensions, she alleges she met with Weinstein later that year to discuss a film called “Vampire Academy.” After a meeting over dinner, Weinstein invited her back to his office, where she alleges “he kneeled in front of her and forcibly performed oral sex on her.”
The lawsuit claims she was sobbing throughout the act, which led Weinstein to respond, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence, and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.”
The suit alleges similar incidents dating from 2013 until 2015, including one alleged interaction in which Weinstein “touched himself sexually” while telling her he just wanted to look at her. When she attempted to leave, the suit alleges, he pushed her into a bathroom and told her, “Shut the f**k up and be quiet. You don’t want to f**k this up.”
The suit is being launched against The Weinstein Company and Weinstein personally. Weinstein’s lawyers have yet to issue a response.
Meanwhile, Lawrence has issued a response to TMZ, refuting the alleged boast set forth in the lawsuit.
“My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein,” she says in a statement. “I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”
After the unnamed plaintiff’s court docs got out, a spokesperson for Weinstein is refuting her claims, “This lawsuit was filed and updated strategically with no notice given or any attempt to reach out to Mr. Weinstein’s attorneys for one reason; It was meant to embarrass Mr. Weinstein and garner unchecked media attention.”
They continued, “There is absolutely no truth to the malicious claims made in this lawsuit, and we are reviewing our options with an eye on filing for an immediate dismissal. Mr. Weinstein is embarrassed for Ms. Lawrence with whom he has only had a professional and respectful relationship, who has sadly been dragged into this ugly attempt at defamation. This filing further proves that anyone can say whatever they want in a lawsuit for maximum shock value, to defame and debase, without having to offer any facts or reality.”
