Disney Fires ‘Andi Mack’ Actor Stoney Westmoreland After He Allegedly Planned To Meet Up With A Minor

Disney has fired “Andi Mack” actor Stoney Westmoreland after he was arrested for allegedly planning to meet a minor for sex.

Westmoreland, 48, who played the Henry “Ham” on the Disney Channel series, was arrested on Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah during an ongoing investigation.

According to reports, the actor was enticing a minor who he believed was 13-years-old online and over text message. He reportedly asked the person to engage in sexual acts with him and to send him nude photos.

Westmoreland was charged with four counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor and one count of enticing a minor by Internet or text, both of which are third-degree felonies.

Disney released the following statement on Saturday: “Stoney Westmoreland, an actor working on the series ‘Andi Mack’, was arrested in Salt Lake City today. Given the nature of the charges and our responsibility for the welfare of employed minors, we have released him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series which wraps production on its third season next week.”
