The “Avengers: Infinity War” actor was asked about how the #MeToo movement has complicated his career. Simple answer: it hasn’t. “It’s only difficult if you’re a man with something to hide,” he told The Times.

Elba’s remark was applauded by the likes of Shonda Rhimes and Rosanna Arquette. “See?” Rhimes tweeted. “I love him,” Arquette exclaimed.

Ava DuVernay said, “Preach, brother. Preach,” while Valerie Jarrett — whose name dominated entertainment headlines over Roseanne Barr’s perceived racist tweets — said, “Listen up, fellas.”
