A rare fish allergy and a bowl of soup almost marked the end for Bethenny Frankel, but the hotel she was due to stay at didn’t seem to care.

The “Real Housewives of New York” star revealed earlier this month how a near-death experience recently left her hospitalized.

Frankel, 48, detailed the unfortunate series of events on Twitter.

“I have a rare fish allergy. Sunday I had soup, itched and was unconscious for 15 minutes,” she shared. “Then [I was rushed] to [the Emergency Room] and [Intensive Care Unit] for two days with [a] blood pressure of 60/40. I couldn’t talk, see, [and I] thought I had a stroke and [was] dying.”

“[I was] told if [it were] five minutes later I’d be dead. 911 and EPI saved me,” she continued before exclaiming, “I’ll never not carry an EpiPen.”

Still dealing with the fallout from the traumatic event, Frankel apparently attempted to get a refund from the hotel where she had to cancel a room after being hospitalized, telling her Twitter followers on Friday that the hotel wouldn’t even give her credit for a future stay.

Frankel’s followers mostly took her side in the dispute.

Earlier this month, The Blast published audio from the emergency dispatch sent to Frankel’s home, saying that she was “losing consciousness” due to a “fish allergy.”

Frankel also received advice from fans on how to deal with the dangerous allergy. One follower told her to wear a medical bracelet in the future, to which Frankel replied: “Okay, I will.”

She was also urged to donate costly EpiPens to schools and children organizations. Frankel promised to look into it.
