Miley Cyrus has got no tears left to cry.
The “Party in the USA” singer just put a new spin on Ariana Grande’s hit song.
Appearing on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, Cyrus performed a cover of “No Tears Left to Cry”, backed by Mark Ronson and a small string section of violinists and cellists.
Cyrus transforms Grande’s upbeat, defiant smash single into a plucky and soaring anthem.
Grande tweeted out the cover, praising Cyrus’ “voice and soul.”
Fans on Twitter all agreed that the cover was something special.
This isn’t the first time Cyrus and Grande’s musical paths have crossed.
Back in June 2017, they two sang the classic Crowded House hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over” at One Love Manchester.
Cyrus also previously performed a stripped down cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” on Live Lounge in 2013.
