Emily Blunt and John Krasinski discuss their relationship in a rare joint interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
Blunt, 35, and Krasinski, 39 — parents to daughters Hazel, 4, and Violet, 2 — tend to keep their careers separate and their private lives private.
When quizzed by THR on their first date, Blunt insists she was probably the one to ask Krasinski out first.
However, the actor insists: “Yeah, right. It was me asking for a while and you took some time and then we finally had a date.”
The duo had pizza in Krasinski’s West Hollywood apartment but what happened the rest of the night? Blunt asks: “It’s so precious, I don’t want to talk about it. Is that all right?”
Blunt does however admit she broke the rules to star in Krasinski’s movie “A Quiet Place”.
The “Mary Poppins Returns” star shares, “I have a minimum of a five-month rule between projects, other than ‘A Quiet Place’. I broke the rule for him and him alone.”
She adds of their individual, busy schedules: “We’ve always allowed and rejoiced in each other having a very full life outside of the other one.”
