‘Drunk’ Madonna Breaks Down On Stage Amid Bitter Custody Battle

The bitter custody battle between Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie rages on as the singer breaks down in tears on stage.

An emotional Madonna burst into tears after requesting a vodka cocktail be brought to her in the middle of a performance on a recent tour stop in Australia.  It’s just the latest in a series of erratic behaviour by the singer, who has reportedly been an emotional wreck over the ongoing custody battle with Ritchie over their 15-year-old son, Rocco.

According to fans, Madonna was slurring her words and appeared unsteady on her feet during a recent performance. The singer was dressed in a clown costume, complete with a pink wig. Though she claims she wasn’t “drunk,”; she requested a Cosmopolitan be brought on stage by her back-up dancers before launching into a song dedicated to her son.

After Madonna had kept fans waiting in the rain for hours, they took to social media to note the singer’s bizarre behaviour, with some fans calling her “drunk”; and “s***faced”; after noting that the singer missed several of her musical cues.

The emotional breakdown on stage is the most recent blow for the “Material Girl”; singer, whose tour has been rocked by rehearsal delays.  At a recent performance in New Zealand, Madonna openly addressed her heartbreak over her legal dramas on stage. “There is no love stronger than a mother for her son. If I talk about him too much I might cry,”; before dedicating a song to Rocco as personal photos of him appeared on the giant screen behind her.
