Rob Lowe Leaves Twitter Confused As He Wades Into ‘Stupid Woman’ Debate Surrounding British Prime Minister Theresa May

Social media users were left confused Wednesday as Rob Lowe voiced his opinions on British Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn apparently calling British Prime Minister Theresa May a “stupid woman” in the House of Commons.

Lowe, 54, joined countless others to criticize Corbyn, 69, for the remarks, despite his spokesman denying that he said such a thing.

The actor posted: “FYI- I have to say, I saw Jeremy Corbin call the Prime Minister a ‘stupid woman’ with my own eyes watching on @SkyNewsPolitics.”

Twitter users were quick to comment on Lowe’s input, with some questioning what on earth was going on.

Lowe’s comments come after Corbyn’s rep insisted, according to the New York Times: “He did not call her a ‘stupid woman.’ So I don’t think there is a basis for an apology. As I understand it he said ‘stupid people.’”
