Rolling Stone recently paid a visit to Macklemore’s Seattle headquarters, where the magazine discovered the rapper’s distinct taste in art, and love of Canadian artists.
“There is a kitschy velvet painting of a bald eagle, an oil painting of Drake dancing,” writer Jonah Weiner described his visit to Macklemore converted studio. “And a transfixing rendition of a naked Justin Bieber with maple syrup pouring down his chest onto a pancake balanced on his boner.”

“Ben spent a lot of time buying weird stuff on Etsy,”; Macklemore’s partner in crime Ryan Lewis told the magazine.
The Rolling Stone profile fails to elaborate on the eyebrow-raising choice of art, but the inspiration for the masterpiece likely came from a bizarre Bieber tweet dating back to 2010.
Im thinking pancakes for breakfast….with some nice maple syrup. Who doesnt love maple syrup? I love maple syrup….
