Moviegoers were not the only ones enamoured with Keanu Reeves in “Speed”.
The Canadian actor’s co-star Sandra Bullock tells Ellen DeGeneres she had a thing for Reeves 25-years-ago. “I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome,” Bullock admits. “It was really hard for me to be serious [during the filming of ‘Speed’]. He would look at me and I’d [giggle].”
“Did y’all get together? Did you date him?” DeGeneres asks. “Never. I guess there was something about me that he didn’t like,” Bullock laughs.
Bullock, 54, also opens up to DeGeneres about the deaths of her father and her dogs weeks apart from each other. “My dad died. While my dad was dying we get a call… that our Dog Ruby, the two-legger, had a stroke,” she says on Thursday’s episode of the day-time talk show. Days later she was told, “your other dog has a heart tumour and she’s going to die in three days.”
“A week later I’m in the bathtub crying and the kids are like, ‘is mommy okay?’ It’s life,” Bullock expresses.
Fortunately a busy 2018 kept Bullock’s focus elsewhere. She starred in two films this year, “Ocean’s 8” and “Bird Box”.
