The beloved sitcom concluded its 10 season run in 2004, but “Friends” is still setting records 14 years later. The show catapulted stars like Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow to superstardom.

It comes as a no-brainer tha Netflix would pick up the streaming rights to the entire catalogue. Its strong performance led Netflix to pay a reported $100 million to keep the show through 2019.
“Friends”‘ new home on the streaming giant helped it become the most-binged show of 2018, according to TV Time. The study was corroborated with third-party sources and tracked more than 10 million global TV Time app users. It held a list-leading 2.36 per cent share of binge-watching online.
