Fans excited for a Beyonce surprise release got their hopes dashed on Thursday.

Two albums credited to Queen Carter appeared on Spotify and Apple Music on Thursday night but only hours later they were removed, according to the Associated Press.

The albums, Have Your Way and Back Up, Rewind, were compilations featuring previously released songs, along with demos and unreleased tracks from the singer.

Have Your Way featured 10 tracks, with songs from the “Best Man” and “Austin Powers in Goldmember” soundtracks, as well as collaborations from albums by Jay-Z and Missy Elliott, and a cover of the ’50s hit “Fever” heard on both “The Fighting Temptations” soundtrack and an ad for Beyonce’s perfume.

The 11-track Back Up, Rewind featured rarities like the song “Keep Giving Your Love to Me” from the “Bad Boys II” soundtrack and Beyonce’s 2003 bonus track “What’s It Gonna Be”.

Reps for Beyonce, Spotify, and Apple Music have yet to comment on the releases.
