Reality TV personality Danielle Staub is in the process of ending her brief marriage to estranged husband Marty Caffrey, and new court documents filed by the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star indicate the divorce is getting nasty.

Staub and Caffrey were married in May, but the marriage apparently went off the rails quickly; Staub was granted a restraining order against Caffrey in August, followed by Caffrey filing for divorce in September — just four months after the wedding.

According to Staub’s counterclaim, obtained by People, she contends that Caffrey is “guilty of extreme cruelty,” and “repeatedly exercised physical control and intimidation by holding [her] down and violently screaming derogatory comments in her face.”

Staub, 56, also alleges that Caffrey, 66, used vulgar language and “habitually screamed at [her] in public, utilizing disparaging and harassing name, calling [her] a ‘whore.’“

Staub’s counterclaim states that Caffrey also verbally abused her daughters, Jillian, 20, and Christine, 24.

“[Caffrey] referred to [her] relationship with her daughters as ‘a lesbian affair,’ purposefully to hurt [her] by referencing incest and embarrass her about her childhood abuse,” Staub’s suit alleges. “[Caffrey] utilized disparaging, offensive, and threatening language toward [her] children, specifically telling them to ‘leave [his] house’ and ‘get the f— out and don’t come back.’“

She also alleges that Caffrey “repeatedly referred to [her] daughter as a ‘c—‘ and ‘entitled bitch’ solely for the purpose of harming and harassing [her].”

The suit details an allegedly horrific 10-day vacation in Anguilla, during which Caffrey “would become incredibly intoxicated on a daily basis. On one occasion in Anguilla, [he] became physically violent, pushing Defendant down, holding her arms down, purposefully physically restraining [her] to the point where she became bruised.”

Other allegations set forth in Staub’s counterclaim include “acts of extreme cruelty,” accusations that he “repeatedly video and audio recorded [her] without her knowledge during sex” and “exercised control by threatening to expose it to the public unless [she] did exactly what [he] asked of her.” Staub also makes the shocking accusation that, while she was hosting a party, Caffrey threatened “to throw everyone out unless [she] would perform oral sex and then compliment him and massage his ego in front of everyone.”

However, Caffrey tells People that Staub’s counterclaim is “a complete list of lies. Only a demented mind could come up with such false accusations. Danielle will go to any level to create problems and to be the victim. None of this is accurate or even close to the truth.”

In a statement to ET Canada, Caffrey says: “Danielle Staub’s answer to my divorce filing is filled with outright lies. I have never recorded her, I have never laid a hand on her in anger, and I have not insulted her heritage. The level of fabrication is almost unbelievable, unless you know Danielle and you know how her mind works.”

He adds: “Danielle and I did not have a perfect relationship, but the accusations she has thrown at me are so both so low, and over the top, that they cannot remain unaddressed. None of what she claims is accurate or even close to the truth. This is Danielle trying to take people down like she has in her past, but it’s not going to work this time.”

Staub is reportedly seeking spousal support.
