Colin Farrell is using his celebrity to shed light on his friend.

“The Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” actor introduced his friend Emma Fogarty on Friday’s episode of Ireland’s “The Late Late Show”. Fogarty was born with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

The group of genetic conditions result in easy blistering of the skin and mucous membrane. There is no known cure for the condition.

More than 80 per cent of Fogarty’s body is covered with wounds similar to third-degree burns. Her fingers have gradually fused together and she suffers through more than four hours of painful bandaging every other day.

“It’s an incredibly rare condition but it’s one that has a kind of particular cruelty to it that I couldn’t imagine living through. Her spirit is incredible,” Farrell said on the talk show before telling Fogarty, “You’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met. You’re really just so inspiring.”
