Country stars Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are officially engaged!
Pearce, 28, announced her engagement to Ray, 30, Saturday on Twitter. “The man of my dreams got down on one knee earlier this week and asked me to be his wife,” Pearce tweeted alongside photos of the proposal. “Michael Ray, you are the most precious example of God’s timing and his love for me. WE ARE GETTIN’ MARRIED, BABY!”

Pearce also showed off her stunning wedding ring. Ray announced the engagement on Instagram with a touching long-form message. “My life forever changed for the better,” Ray wrote. “I got down on one knee in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and looked into the eyes of the most beautiful soul I have ever known and asked her to be my wife!”
“You are the biggest blessing I have and will ever receive,” he sweetly continued. “You are my best friend, my partner in crime, my workout, grilled chicken, wine drinking classic country Opry loving, Nashville Palace hanging, Publix grocery shopping, ‘This Is Us’ watching, living room late-night dancing, laugh until we cry soul mate.”

The couple made their relationship public in July weeks after trading flirty message on social media. They made their first red carpet appearance as boyfriend and girlfriend in November at the 2018 CMA Awards.
