Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons has been earning rave reviews for his performance in “I’m Not Here”, and a new trailer for the gripping drama has just been unveiled.
In the film, Simmons plays Steve, a man haunted by his past as every object in his home and every sound he hears reminds him of a specific event in his life.
“Steve connects the events of his life to discover how he ended up alone and broken,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “As he relives each significant memory, he understands the generational issues that have held him captive like his father before him. Can he move past the pain and forgive his trespassers, and more importantly, forgive himself?”
The film also stars Sebastian Stan (“Avengers: The Winter Soldier”), Mandy Moore (“This Is Us”), Maika Monroe (“Greta”), Max Greenfield (“New Girl”) and “Young Sheldon” star Iain Armitage.
“I’m Not Here” is scheduled to hit theatres and on demand on March 8, 2019.
