Chris Evans is celebrating the holidays with his dog, Dodger, and shared a sweet-yet-hilarious video in which his pet faces a Christmas dilemma.
As Evans explains, Dodger is extremely fond of a particular toy, a stuffed lion, which he brings to bed with him every night. When a friend gave the dog a new lion for Christmas, he writes, it “immediately caused competition and uncertainty. Dodger was torn. The big question was who would get the highly coveted bedtime invite?”

In the two-minute video, Evans can be heard telling Dodger it’s time for bed as he shuts off the lights in his home. Dodger, however, can be seen bringing the new lion with him… and then repeatedly changing his mind, substituting the new one for the old until finally making a decision to stay with his tried-and-true favourite.
“You’re a loyal guy, buddy,” the “Captain America” star tells his four-legged friend.
This isn’t the first time Evans has shared about Dodger on Twitter, and even tweeted a video of the first time they met, when Dodger was inside a cage in an animal shelter back in April:
